ESC Clermont Foundation grants 46 scholarships to the business school’s students this year

On the 31st of January, a ceremony was held to honour the 46 students, many of which were international students, who received their scholarships and who were awarded their certificates. The students were selected based on social and academic criteria that helped the jury evaluate their files. The ceremony was held in the presence of the donators of the foundation (Michelin, Société Générale and many others), the school’s staff, professors and management team.

Through the first fundraising campaign, the foundation has managed to achieve success. This year, 46 scholarships were granted to the students representing a total amount of 88,300 euros, an amount that is three times higher than last year, thanks to the ESC Clermont Foundation.

The scholarship helps many international students to achieve their goals and realise their dreams as indicated in the testimonial of Sohaib Samdani, an outstanding Pakistani student in the MSc. in Project Management “I always had a dream to study abroad, but my financial constraints had hinder my goals for a long time. However, thanks to ESC Clermont Graduate School of Management and its generous fee waivers, I am about to complete my Masters in Project Management from an institution that one dreams to attend”.

The ESC Clermont Foundation was created in March 2016 with the aim of helping the graduate school of management to realise its strategic project (Vision 2020) of reinforcing itself as one of the best business schools on both the national and international level. The strategic goals of the foundation are reinforcing social openness and equal opportunities, boosting research and innovation, supporting entrepreneurship and encouraging professional integration in the business world.
