The incubator, the Square Lab
Created in 2013, the Square Lab (the incubator of Groupe ESC Clermont) offers an ecosystem that helps in the setting up of new companies. It offers tailor made advice to those that have a project amongst the graduates of the school and can also accommodate entrepreneurs that belong to our networks.
The Square Lab team consists of experts from varying backgrounds: teachers, entrepreneurs, heads of companies and consulting agencies specialized in different domains (legal, accounting, intellectual property, etc.)
In 2014, out of 40 applications, 12 projects were awarded complete support, beginning with the feasibility studies right down to the preparation of the business plan.
« I only had a vague idea of the company I wanted to create but I knew I wanted to be an entrepreneur. The incubator allowed me to gather my thoughts, to bring my project to life and gave me the means to verify its technical and commercial viability. The Wee-Jack Project, the company I wish to found, is a social network with a humanitarian theme aimed at improving the collaboration between NGOs, companies and the public at large in addition to raising funds through donations by projects (as in crowdfunding). »
