DOCTOR OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION PROGRAM

NANCE COLLEGE OF BUSINESS - CLEVELAND STATE UNIVERSITY

 GLOBAL BUSINESS SPECIALIZATION

AT THE ESC-CLERMONT CAMPUS, FRANCE

DOCTOR OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION PROGRAM

Globalization, the rise of international activities of small and medium-sized firms, and growing interdependence of national economies are creating greater opportunities for a career in global business. And, according to AACSB International, there is a critical shortage of doctoral qualified business faculty. The Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) program at the Nance College of Business Administration is designed to engage and prepare a new generation of aspiring academicians and driven practitioners for rewarding careers in Global Business.

The DBA program is taught by Nance College of Business graduate faculty who are selected for expertise in their disciplines and for their related experience in business. Building on our long-standing relationship with ESC Clermont Graduate School of Management, students now have the opportunity to complete the DBA degree in Global Business in France, at the ESC Clermont Campus in Clermont-Ferrand. In this program, you’ll develop functional expertise within an interdisciplinary and global framework so that you may advance business theory and practice, making significant contributions to the larger community.

QUALITY

All Nance business and accountancy programs are accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International), the hallmark of excellence in management education. ESC Clermont, one of the French Grande Ecole with their long-standing tradition of excellence, also holds AACSB accreditation for all its business programs. Only 5 percent of business schools in the world hold AACSB accreditation.

The faculty is comprised of nationally and internationally known professors and scholars. Faculty scholarship is published in a variety of high ranking academic journals. Students will have the opportunity to work closely with faculty members on research projects.  The program has a strong record of publication by students and alumni, often in collaboration with faculty members.
