The tenured
faculty reflects
a wide diversity
of backgrounds,
origins and
nationalities,
which
contributes to
the school's
distinctly
international
culture. The
various degree
programs benefit
from teaching by
visiting and
adjunct faculty
from national
and
international
partner
universities as
well as the
business world.
Each faculty
member is also
an academic and
general tutor
for a group of
approximately
ten students.
Every student is
assigned to a
faculty member
who provides
academic advice
and guidance on
an individual
basis.
Faculty members
serve the
school's overall
mission through
their
intellectual
contributions in
a number of
specific ways.
Since our
mission is to
educate students,
the main
emphasis is on
intellectual
contributions in
practice and
applied research.
To support this
mission, faculty
members are
engaged in one
or more of the
following
research domains:
Our school has
established a
special
reputation in
the area of
Human Resource
Management,
Training and
Qualifications.
The school is
the only French
Grande Ecole to
house within its
structure a
government-sponsored
research
laboratory -
CEREQ – Centre
d'Etudes et de
Recherches sur
les
Qualifications.
The CEREQ is
funded directly
by the Ministry
of Education and
the Ministry of
Labor. As part
of its mission,
this research
unit carries out
research and
studies into
employment
trends, training
and
qualifications.
Within France ,
our faculty
members are
recognized for
their
contributions to
research within
the human
resources area.
There are
several on-going
projects for
government
agencies and
large
multi-national
corporations
such as the
Michelin Tire
Company. The
school has also
taken the lead
in managing
international
human resource
research
projects across
Europe .
