2024 Financial Times Masters in Management Ranking

One of the most coveted rankings for business schools in France and internationally has been revealed today. Our school has maintained its presence in the Top 100 for the third consecutive year, ranking 81st globally and 17th among French Grandes Écoles recruiting from the French business school foundation programs.

Every year, the Financial Times publishes the highly anticipated ranking of the best Masters in Management worldwide. This ranking, which evaluates the quality of management programs at the master’s level (Bac +5), has become an international reference. Generally, French business schools highlight their flagship program, the Grande École Program.

By basing its ranking on a series of rigorous criteria such as the employability of graduates, the diversity of the faculty, the strength of the alumni network, return on investment, international experience, and career support, the Financial Times aims to guide students in choosing an excellent program suited to their professional ambitions.

Rankings are an integral part of our market. It’s important to note that in France, there are nearly 300 business schools, but only those offering state-recognized diplomas and master’s degrees are considered in the various “Rankings of the Grandes Écoles.” To be included in the FT ranking, a school must also hold at least one international accreditation, such as AACSB or EQUIS.

A Strong Long-Term Performance

After conducting a survey of business schools and their 2021 graduates (N-3), the Financial Times shared today its 2024 ranking of the Best Masters in Management. This ranking places our school at 81st globally (67th in 2023).

At the national level, our program ranks 17th among Post-Prep Masters in Management (16th in 2023).

The slight drop in both global and French rankings reflects market fluctuations and the strong competition between programs, as well as the arrival of new entrants. However, taking a three-year perspective, our position remains stable, placing us firmly in the Top 15 French schools recruiting from preparatory classes. This consistency attests to the quality of our Grande École Program, which offers strong career prospects and attractive remuneration. The ranking also highlights our ability to provide a diverse and inclusive academic environment, with an international focus that attracts many students and partners!

Although this criterion is not directly considered in the ranking, alumni satisfaction is evaluated by the Financial Times. In this area, we are proud to rank 10th in France and 55th globally. This is a significant recognition of the dedication of the school’s teams. A big thank you to our alumni for their loyalty, commitment, and satisfaction.

Did you know?

The Financial Times ranking is unique in that it relies on a very detailed survey, providing a comprehensive view of the programs and academic excellence of schools and universities. With 19 indicators focused on career progression, diversity in the broadest sense, international experience, and impact, the survey is sent directly by the media to graduates who earned their degree three years prior.

To be included in the ranking, a minimum response rate is required, and only the top 100 Masters in Management programs are ranked. Each year, significant shifts in positions are observed, along with a turnover of around +/- 20%. To provide longer-term clarity for readers, the FT also indicates the average ranking over the past three years.
