Our student among 322 candidates granted the elite EIFFEL scholarship
Congratulations to our student Katiela RIVERA for securing the EIFFEL scholarship for the academic year 2018-2019!
The results are finally out after a long wait. Chosen among the only 322 Master students all over France who were selected for obtaining the EIFFEL scholarship, Katiela will be joining our Master of Science in International Commerce and Digital Marketing starting in October 2018. This scholarship is offered with the main aim to connect French higher education institutions and top international students who are to be, the future positive change agents.
Katiela doesn’t only have an excellent academic track, but also, she has extensive experience in Marketing obtained through work positions in different banks and companies. By joining our specialized Master’s programme, she is looking forward to being up-to-date with the latest marketing tools and practices while building on further commercial knowledge to advance in her professional career.
The provision of the scholarship to our student represents a strong sign of the Ministry’s confidence in the quality of the programmes offered by ESC Clermont, along with the trust in the potential of the candidates applying for the business school.
Every year, there is a very big demand for the scholarship that is provided by Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs which covers a monthly stipend of €1181, along with a return ticket from the home country to France and the way back, the subscription to the French social insurance system and the cost of diverse cultural activities.
There are many formalities to meet to apply for the highly selective EIFFEL scholarship. The candidates express interest in getting the scholarship, after which the university studies the file to evaluate the eligibility. In case eligible, the university must present the scholarship file on behalf of students. The criteria which are used to evaluate the files: The academic and professional profile of candidates, the international policy of the university and the co-operation level between the Ministry for Europe and Foreign affaires especially towards the origin country of candidates.
