Rankings 2018: ESC Clermont among the top 100 by FT and QS
It is that time of the year when all eyes are on international rankings for universities and business schools. The two most consulted ranking bodies have published their results for 2018-2019 and ESC Clermont is ranked among the best 100.
As for this new publication, it is important to note that the number of institutions listed has significantly increased. Initially, FT (Financial Times) included 70 Master programmes in 2014 while it ranks 100 establishments this year. As for QS (Quacquarelli Symonds), last year edition involved 120 business schools compared to 150 this year. The international competition has taken it to another level and to this day, there is even a debate on the changes made to the methodology that has made it globally over the past year in favor of Anglo-Saxon establishments.
The criteria that were used by FT involved different evaluation factors as the salary of graduates, international mobility and career opportunities, while QS focused on employability, diversity and value for money. Since its first publishing nearly 10 years ago, ESC Clermont has been regularly ranked in the top 100 business schools in the world, the school has also made it into the first newly issued QS ranking for business schools which started last year as QS initially only provided rankings for universities.
