Strong engagement of our students, graduates and partners in face of COVID-19

Significant efforts have been taken by students, graduates and partner companies to combat the outbreak

Earlier in April, Tugce Varol visited the CHU Gabriel Montpied hospital as part of a voluntary mission organized by the association ‘Association Culturelle Turque de l’Auvergne’. Tugce is a Turkish student enrolled in the MSc. in Project Management of ESC Clermont since September 2019. She is one of many students who decided to stay in France during the outbreak and take a positive and solidarity action to support the health care personnel of the public hospital of Clermont-Ferrand.

The mission consisted of visiting the hospital and offering gratitude and moral support to the health staff fighting the COVID-19 on behalf of our Turkish community. The association offered 80 fruit baskets that we prepared for the staff.

On the corporate level, graduates and partner companies have shown incredible determination to support the fight against the COVID-19 outbreak:

MICHELIN, partner of the School where 119 graduates work, is using its 3D printers to fabricate masks and respirators

Clarins Group, presided by Sandrine Groslier Douhet (graduate of 1997), produced hydroalcoholic gel in its units in Strasbourg, Amiens and Pontoise, to supply hospitals in France.

Directmarket.fr, founded by Marc Dorel (graduate of 2013), provided support to small and local procedures to sell their products online through the platform.

Capillum, founded by James Taylor and Clément Baldellou (graduates of 2018 et 2019), offered its stock of protective equipment to medical staff in Clermont-Ferrand.
