We believe that acquiring professional experiences throughout the educational course is vital for:
- putting theory into practice.
- deciding on the right career. Students can use their work experience to develop and affirm their career choice and professional
- getting a foothold in the job market.
- becoming creative and responsible managers of the future.
Internships
Students carry out a 3–month managerial internship in the first year. The second semester of the second and final year is dedicated to another executive internship, granting students the opportunity to build on their business experience and acquire managerial skills.
Gap year – Professional experience or further studies
Students on the Master in Management programme have the possibility to take a gap year between the first and final year of the programme to extend their internship period or work placement and consolidate their expertise in management.
During this gap year, students can alternatively choose to study at a partner university abroad to specialize in a wide variety of fields: sciences, art, social sciences, fashion, cuisine… This study period abroad allows students to acquire further skills besides a managerial expertise in order to enhance career prospects, language ability and interpersonal competencies.
Apprenticeships
Students can also do an apprenticeship that allow for a mixture between studying and working inside a company, providing a unique opportunity to combine academia and professional experience. Apprenticeships are possible only during the second year of the Master programme.
