Today, Jean-Baptiste Alvarez is the director of ASOE, a company whose main mission is to provide support to construction and public works companies to help them integrate changes in their business activities. He talks to Zap Magazine about his studies at ESC Clermont BS.

CAN YOU DESCRIBE YOURSELF IN FIVE WORDS?

I’m passionate, committed, hard-working, humorous, and friendly.

WHAT PROMPTED YOU TO CHANGE YOUR PROFESSIONAL LIFE?

There were several reasons: my family life, my desire to be an entrepreneur and my desire to support building and civil engineering contractors in an increasingly unstable environment.

WHAT DID YOU DO AT ESC CLERMONT BS?

The MBA – Executive Master in Management, took 18 months to complete from September 2021 to April 2023, in parallel with my professional activity. The course has enabled me to open my mind to new management methods, new societal issues and consolidate the tools I need for my new job.

THE BEST MEMORY OF YOUR TRAINING ?

The integration weekend! The after-dinner drinks on the first evening, when we stayed out a bit late to get to know each other!

AN ANECDOTE?

Not really an anecdote, but a state of mind! This course really opens you up to others, we’ve created a little family, we’ve become much more than training colleagues, with a good dynamic and mutual support between us.
