Looking Back at...The 2024 Business Forum
A highlight of the year for our students and partners, the Business Fair is an event that offers, beyond networking opportunities, real chances for recruiters and candidates alike! This year, it took place on March 19th with the presence of around forty local and national companies.
Organized by the Corporate Relations team, this event is of paramount importance for students eager to professionalize. Indeed, on this day, participating companies host selected candidates at their stands for job dating sessions that could lead to internships, apprenticeships, or first jobs.
To maximize the chances for both companies and candidates and facilitate the perfect match, a pre-selection and targeting process of students is carried out by the Corporate Relations and CareerLab teams. This background work aims to create virtuous connections between students and our partner companies and to facilitate the search process for both parties.
However, on the D-day, armed with their best resumes, students also had the opportunity to spontaneously apply to recruiters present for the occasion!
To make a good impression, speak clearly and authentically about their background, experiences, and career goals, students attended preparation workshops led by the CareerLab team. This setup allows them to gain confidence and approach this event with assurance!
Another meeting and discovery venue, the cooking workshops offered by Auchan Retail France as part of the “Chef on Campus” operation were back to punctuate this day. Many students and staff members were able to participate in one-hour cooking classes and discover simple and accessible recipes in a friendly atmosphere.
