Our proximity to businesses is reflected in our programme that includes both theory and practice, with an emphasis on practice and teamwork.
A consultancy project related to an internal audit mission performed throughout the 2nd semester of the MSc programme in local French companies (SMEs and corporations) and in small groups is a perfect example of this ambition since you will be actively mentored by professors and will be in close contact with the companies’ managers.
Certification AMF (Autorité des Marchés Financiers) :
Preparation of the AMF certification exam in partnership with CFPB (Centre des Professions Bancaires) : access to a dedicated training platforms (books and database of questions). The exam session is scheduled at ESC Clermont in March/April every year.
The AMF certification, introduced in 2010 in France, concerns 18,000 people each year: traders, sales personnel, financial analysts, managers, control officer persons in charge of post-market functions and compliance. It is the equivalent of the FCA (Financial Conduct Authority) in the U.K.
CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner)
Preparation for the CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner) exam thanks to a partnership with the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).
Lectures are delivered by:
- Highly qualified professionals who have excelled in the areas Accounting, Audit, Finance and Risk Control.
- Faculty professors acknowledged as leaders in the fields.
Students can obtain a dual-degree or M.A in Auditing, Finance & Governance (MAG) from Aalen University in Germany by spending one semester in the partner university.
Internship and Thesis
Each student of the Control, Audit & Corporate Finance Programme will do an internship or a job placement of a minimum of 4 months in France, Europe or any other location abroad.
The internship aims permits the students to bring the knowledge, expertise and tools learned in the classes into practice and obtain further professional experience.
Each student is individually supervised by a designated advisor and completes a professional thesis, followed by an oral defense and company assessment.
Fees and financing
There is no application fee.
Tuition Fees for the MSc. Programme: € 11,500
Early bird scholarships:
- Payment of deposit: Those who pay the deposit before the beginning of March receive a 5% reduction on the tuition fees.
- Confirmation of enrollment: Those who pay the deposit within the two weeks following acceptance and till the end of June as a maximum receive a 5% reduction on the tuition fees.
- Full payment of the tuition fees before start of the programme: 5% reduction on the tuition fees.
The first two scholarship schemes are non-cumulative. The full payment of the tuition fees discount is cumulative with either the first or second early bird scholarship.
Scholarships by ESC Clermont Foundation:
Students of the Master programme will have the possibility to apply for a scholarship after the start of the programme. Various scholarships are offered to both French and international students based on their academic achievements and social backgrounds.
Scholarships to go abroad:
Erasmus+ scholarship: For students who are interested in doing their internship in Europe or those who would like to obtain the dual-degree from our partner university in Europe, they will be able to apply for this scholarship allowing them to obtain a monthly stipend to finance their stay.
Conseil Régional scholarhsip: For students who do their internships outside France or those who will study in one of our two partner universities in Europe, the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes offers the students a scholarship to support them in their living costs abroad.
Flexible payment plans
There are also flexible payment plans available to settle the tuition fees through multiple payments.
